Francesca Moisin is a journalist and writer of fiction and creative nonfiction. She has lived in many places, but identifies most with New York City, where she spent 16 years.
Born in Transylvania during Ceauşescu’s communist regime, Francesca escaped Romania with her parents and sister, Laura, when she was six years old. She's worked as a journalist since 2000, publishing articles for various national and international magazines and newspapers.
She currently lives in a small town by the sea, and is working on a memoir about her mother.
